ROTARIAN URGES YOUTHS TO SHUN VIOLENCE IN COMMEMORATION OF WORLD PEACE DAY

As today marks World Peace Day, Nigerian youths have been advised to shun violence and see how they can contribute to a peaceful 2023 polls.

Rotarian, ABINUOLA OLAYINKA gave this advice while speaking with Solutions FM on the importance today’s World Peace Day on Wednesday.

Rotarian OLAYINKA said that with the youths being part of the largest numbers of voters in the forthcoming polls, they should ensure maximum participation in the electoral process and shun vote buying.
OLAYINKA said a walk to commemorate the International Day would be done in some strategic areas in Ibadan on Thursday, 21 September, 2022 to promote peace in all spheres.

The theme for this year’s world peace day is “End Racism. Build Peace.”
