All still shows that the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, IYOCHA AYU has more battle to win in order to stay in the leadership position of the party.
This became more obvious this morning as a member of the party, KATCH ONONUJU says unseating AYU will be the easiest thing to do before the presidential campaign starts this month.
Some aggrieved members of the party have been calling on Senator IYOCHA AYU, a northerner to step down after former Vice president ATIKU ABUBAKAR also from the region emerged as the presidential flag bearer of the PDP ahead of the 2023 polls.
According to ONONUJU, the agitation for a Southern National Chairman is an issue of inclusion, adding that the government of ATIKU could be fraught with nepotism, should he win the Presidential election.
