Oyo state Accord party governorship candidate, ADEBAYO ADELABU has confirmed that his decision to defect from All Progressives Congress APC to Accord Party was due to ideological differences with some key members of the party.
ADELABU, who lost the Governorship ticket to TESLIM FOLARIN in the APC primaries at the Obafemi Awolowo stadium in May while speaking on Solutions FM`s Political weekend programme “Pendulum “ ADELABU explained that his aim of joining Accord was because of the party`s structure and the Third Force effect in the state.
The former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN ADELABU while speaking on the state of the nation backed devolution of powers and ‘restructuring’ of Nigeria which he said will also help the growth of different states and increase their Internally Generated Revenue IGR.
