TAKE ACTION! OYO MINISTRY OF HEALTH, USAID, BA-N CHARGES RELIGIOUS LEADERS

Oyo State Government has called on Religious leaders to take Action in reducing the spread of Tuberculosis, Malaria and Monkey Pox in the state.

This was the focus of the state’s Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Breakthrough Action Nigeria BA-N at the just concluded Two-Day Faith Based Organization Workshop.

Different facilitators at the seminar spoke on the misconceptions and myths surrounding diseases and health challenges including State Government’s intervention in stemming the tides.

Speaking to Newsmen, Senior Programme Officer BA-N, SEYI AKINTOLA says the aim behind the seminar was to use other leaders closer to people in different communities to share vital health information.

AKINTOLA added that the organization and Oyo state government will be hopeful of success stories from the leader after the workshop.
