
Ghana has disowned a security advisory issued on Wednesday, warning her citizens from travelling to Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
In a rejoinder tweeted this morning, the government declared the statement was unauthorized, regretting the inconvenience it may have caused.
Recall the Wednesday notice which carried the name and logo of the Ghanaian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration indicated that Nigeria asked some hotels to close, citing the directive by local authorities to hotels operating in residential buildings to shut down.
