MINISTER OF WOMEN AFFAIRS, TALLEN WITHDRAWS FROM 2023 ELECTORAL RACE TO RETAIN MINISTERIAL POSITION
Minister of Women Affairs, HELEN TALLEN, is the latest cabinet member of President MUHAMMADU BUHARI to withdraw from the 2023 electoral race to retain her ministerial position.
The minister, who had purchased the All Progressives Congress form to contest the Plateau South Senatorial election, made her decision known in a statement today.
TALLEN noted that she came to the decision after consultations with her constituents and thought it wise to withdraw from the race.
