A legal practitioner VICTOR GIWA has called on the Independent National electoral commission INEC to live up to their responsibilities in checkmating political parties who may likely breach the electoral act as 2023 political campaigns kick off today.
GIWA while speaking on his expectation from INEC says the MAMOOD YAKUBU led electoral body should also make public financial statements of political parties and limit their funding level according to the Electoral Act.
GIWA also charges political parties avoid hate speeches and act according to the rules during their campaigns.
