200 widows in Ibadan today benefited from free eye screening exercise organized by Zonta Club II Jericho Ibadan.
Our correspondent OLADAPO OKUNUBI reports that widows from different parts of the city who participated at the Health Programme were attended to by medical experts who gave out free glasses depending on their conditions, while some were referred to UCH for free eye surgery.
Speaking to Solutions 939FM, President, Zonta Club Ibadan II, Dr OLUFUNMI ADEGBILE said the project is one of the activities of the organization in helping women in the society.
Some of the participants who spoke to our correspondent thanked Zonta Club for the kind gesture.
