12 first class grandaunts and one full fee paying student with highest CGPA in the second class Upper division have been offered automatic employment with the First Technical University, Ibadan
Pioneer Vice Chancellor professor AYOBAMI SALAMI who made this announcement while giving his address at the maiden convocation of the institution noted that the graduates have shown themselves to be worthy products of the citadel of learning.
Speaking at the event, Oyo State Governor SEYI MAKINDE, represented by the Secretary to the Government (SSG) Mrs OLUBANWO ADEOSUN who reiterated the government’s commitment to education also called for more collaboration and partnership to help sustain the lofty dream of the state government.
On his part, the Chancellor of the institution TUNDE AFOLABI charged the graduates to be good ambassadors of the school.
Some graduates and parents spoke to solutions FM correspondent on their happiness witnessing the convocation ceremony.
Out of the 63 graduates, 12 bagged first class degrees, 25 finished with second class Upper, while 24 picked second class lower certificate and 2 finished on 3rd class level.
