ZONTA CLUB OF IBADAN II TAKES MEDICAL OUTREACH TO LANIBA COMMUNITY

Zonta club of Ibadan II has called the attention of the Oyo State Government to the lack of medical health centre in Laniba, Akinyele Local Government Area in Ibadan, Oyo state and the plight of the people who resolve to using midwives for delivery and other health issues.

The President , Zonta club Ibadan II, Dr. OLUFUNMI ADEGBILE while speaking during a medical outreach over the weekend in the Local government for 3 communities, emphasized the passion of the club to ensure that women and children are adequately taken care of in the society and the importance of regular medical check-up.

Speaking with gratitude, the Baale of Laniba, Chief PETER LANIBA alongside some residents, said the intervention witnessed at the community will linger on in their minds.

Recall Zonta Club of Ibadan II had last year advocated for the continuous fight to conquer Violence against women and end to various gender-based crimes during its 16-day activism.
