Today is Children’s Day, a day set aside to commemorate children across the globe and for adults to remember their childhood experiences.
In commemoration of today’s occasion, Solutions 93.9fm in conjunction with Teens Matter foundation hosted a cross section of children in Ibadan as they had a firsthand live on-air experience of a kiddie’s event.
The special Children’s Day programme had a counseling session on Skill Acquisition by the founder Teens Matter foundation Mrs. ENIOLA MOTUNRAYO, News reading, gift presentation, cutting of cake and dance competition.
Speaking on the aim of the event, Mrs. MOTUNRAYO said it was a way of putting smiles on the faces of the children and changing the orientation of the parents on training their kids.
Some of the parents who brought their children for the event appreciated The Remedy Radio and Teens Matter foundation for initiating such an educating and entertaining programme.
The theme for this year’s children’s day is “investing in our future means investing in our children”
