Rural farmers under the Oyo south senatorial district have benefited from the first phase of the palliative material distribution executed on Wednesday by Senator SHARAFADEEN ALLI at the Federal College of Forestry (FRIN), Jericho Ibadan.
The over 2000 agricultural palliative materials include knapsack sprayer, bags of fertilizers and fumigation chemicals.
According to Senator ALLI, the gesture was geared towards reducing hunger and food insecurity in the country; a plan which is in line with President BOLA TINUBU`s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Speaking at the event, state secretary All Progressives Congress APC Alhaji TAJUDEEN OLANITE and Honorable MOJEED OLAOYA appealed to the beneficiaries to utilize the materials well so that residents of the state can benefit from the idea behind the gesture.
Some beneficiaries also share their joy with the remedy dial, while charging other politicians to follow Senator ALLI`s steps of giving back to the constituents.
