Oyo state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) commissioned its bottle water factory located at Eleyele, Ibadan on Thursday.
Commending the executives for a laudable project during his tenure, the Oyo State Commandant, NSCDC, MICHEAL ADARALEWA expressed his satisfaction, stating that the project will enhance the dividends of all co-operators and expand the liquidity of the command in Oyo state.
ADARALEWA also urged the executives on the proper management of the factory so as to ensure its longevity and durability.
While speaking to newsmen about the project, Oyo NSCDC Ibadan Staff Cooperative and Investment Society, KAYODE ADEBAYO, said the over 70-million-naira water processing factory is another milestone in the history of Force’s Cooperative Society after the commissioning of the pure water factory in August 2021.
ADEBAYO is, however, proud that despite the challenges faced during the planning of the project, diversifying the economy towards profit making, which is the primary objective of the society, was achieved.
