President of the Jericho Businessmen Club (JBC), Olooye ADEGBOYEGA ADEGOKE has been praised for both his financial and physical efforts in supporting every project associated with Ibadanland.
The accolade was passed during the award presentation at the Ibadan Cultural festival 2024 organized by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium on Saturday, 27th of July, 2024.
Speaking about the Aare Onibon Balogun Olubadan, Chairman, 2024 Ibadan Week planning committee, BALOGUN OJETOLA highlighted the singular effort of olooye ADEGBOYEGA towards the achievement of the New Olubadan palace, his 10 million naira donation to Ibadan week and other outstanding contributions to the educational and cultural progress of Ibadan.
Ojetola further prayed that the business Mogul reap all that he has sown in the brown roof city.
Also singing his praise, President, CCII, Chief Ajeniyi Ajewole expressed his heartfelt joy towards the unending support he has received from Olooye ADEGOKE, who he said has made his tenure easy.
Receiving the award of the Most distinguished Ibadan Indigene, the Aare onibon, who doubles as the Chairman, Solutions FM, said the development of Ibadan has always been his priority and the award will only spur him to do more for Ibadanland.
Olooye ADEGOKE also promised to continue supporting CCII in all their future projects for Ibadanland.
Beside him to receive the award was his wife, Oota Iyalode of Ibadanland, Mrs. Remilekun Adegoke, former Commissioner for Environment in Oyo State, Barrister Lowo Obisesan, JBC members and other prominent individuals.
