NEW COMMISSIONER OF POLICE PROMISES ADEQUATE SYNERGY TO COMBAT CRIME IN OYO

The new Commissioner of Police, Oyo State, Adebola Hamzat has reiterated the need for collaborative effort with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps towards combating insecurity in the state.

CP Adebola Hamzat made this disclosure today during a courtesy visit to the Oyo State Command of the NSCDC

The 45th Commissioner of Police in the State appreciated the warm reception he received from the Command and reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to continue working with Civil Defence and other sister agencies in the state for positive results.

He further enjoined the two agencies to work in unison without rivalry towards enhancing adequate security of lives and property in the state.

In response, the Oyo State Commandant of the NSCDC, Dr Michael Adaralewa commended the new Commissioner of Police, CP Adebola Hamzat, for the trust reposed in NSCDC and assured him of the Corps’ readiness to partner with the Police Force especially in information gathering geared towards tackling insecurity in the state.

Commandant Michael Adaralewa later used the medium to admonished the citizens of the State to always furnish the two sister agencies with credible information that will help to nip crime in the bud.
