
Environmental Officers in Ibadan North-West and South-West Local Government area has declared zero tolerance to Uncleanliness by embarking on sensitization and inspection exercise at Oke-Ado, Ibadan, Oyo state.
The team of sanitarians numbering up to 30, who were led by Deputy Director, Environmental Sanitation Ibadan South West Local Government, Sanitarian AJAYI OLUGBENGA and Sanitarian RAJI TAIWO combed all corners in Oke-Ado to ensure adherence to environmental laws laid down in the state.
While speaking with Solutions FM correspondent, Sanitarian OLUGBENGA, stressed the urgent need for traders and residents to keep their environment and waterways clean.
Some goods were seized from defaulting street hawkers who display their goods close to the road, although they were later pardoned
OLUGBENGA further appealed to the people of Ibadan and Oyo State at large to cooperate with Environmental Health Officers to ensure a disease-free environment.
