Child right advocate JULIA AFACHUNG has called for more investment and support for female children in the country in order to allow them achieves their dream.
Miss AFACHUNG who made this appeal this morning on our current affairs morning show ;AM UPDATE in commemoration of today`s international day of The Girl Child said the era of relegating a girl child to background and playing second fiddle is over as more opportunities should be given to them.
She also suggested participation of women in politics and decision making in the country must increase so as to follow and introduce more laws to protect the female gender.
The theme for this year’s is International day of the girl child is Invest in Girls’ Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-being.”
