Sports reporter, enthusiast, broadcaster and advocate, Mr. Abass Ishola aka Abasslah will host his maiden edition of a Sports/Business Seminar tomorrow, Tuesday, 8th August, 2023.
The date which also coincides with his date of birth will bring together, Sports Athletes, Coaches, Administrators, Business Moguls, Individuals and other Officials in the business of Sports growth to the seminar. The lecture will be based on the importance of Sports as a Business in the society.
Main guest lecturer is Mr Henry Duru, a lecturer of the University of Ibadan and he will be accompanied with the likes of Alhaji Isak Ajibola who happens to be a Sports Scout & Dr. Akande Kazeem (ATM), another guest lecturer that will deliberate on “Peace & Development” in our nation.
Father of the day is Professor Sabit Olagoke Ariyo (JP) while the Chief host is Mr Ademola Babalola (NUJ Chairman, Oyo State Chapter). Host is Mr Niyi Alebiosu (SWAN Chairman).
The theme of the seminar is “Sports Business Management” and it is packaged by Grand Pitch Global in conjunction with the Sports Writers’ Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Oyo State Chapter.
Venue of the event is the NUJ Hall, Iyaganku Area, Ibadan.
This seminar will be an eye-opener on the importance of Sports as an alternative means of livelihood in the business sector.
